This was my first time buying a home, and Rachel made it the most positive experience - I would highly recommend contacting Rachel for selling/buying needs as she is patient, hard-working, and very knowledgable about the real estate market. I contacted her at all hours of the day (weekends included) and she was always so kind and willing to answer my questions. We saw over 15 places and she was very honest about all the positive and negative aspects to consider about the property and helped me to come up with a reasonable bid. Most notably, I am grateful to her in talking me out of making a ridiculously high bid on a property that wasn't worth the price - at the time, I was emotionally drained from having lost so many places by not bidding high enough, but she always helped me to stay grounded and rational. As a first time buyer, I was so grateful she guided me through the whole process and informed me of everything that needed to be done, helping me to coordinate between my lawyer and lender and the sellers even if it wasn't necessarily something she needed to do. Going into this process I was very defensive with all real estate agents I spoke with as I was unfamiliar with all the industry terminology and "market trends" but working with Rachel has helped me to really break through that barrier. I fully trust Rachel because she really cared for me to make the best decision for me and my family (considering our budget and needs) and because she had such in-depth knowledge of the industry and extensive experience of how to maneuver through different situations that came up. Real estate is not easy by any means, but I will always recommend Rachel to others in Chicago and try to use Rachel for all my real estate needs in the future because that trust between buyer/seller and agent is not easy to come by. Highly, highly recommend.
